WSOP launches the first Online Super Circuit of 2023

The World Series of Poker website will launch the first Online Super Circuit Series of 2023, with a whopping $1 million in guaranteed prizes. The series will be held on WSOP.com from March 9 to 16, offering players the opportunity to contend for 18 championship rings, a rise from the standard 12.

The tournament is accessible in the combined Nevada/New Jersey market, with different festivals currently happening in Pennsylvania and Michigan at the same time. These tournaments in Pennsylvania and Michigan provide an extra $470,000 in guaranteed prizes, contributing to the enthusiasm of the already massive series.

To play, players should be physically located in one of the states, as mentioned earlier. Still, they do not need to be residents.

The WSOP Hosts a Number of Poker Tournaments

Players can start competing for championship rings and large prize pools in a number of competitions on the schedule. The $525 Main Event, which begins on March 26 and features a $250,000 guarantee for gamblers in New Jersey and Nevada, is one of the most anticipated events.

Meanwhile, players from Pennsylvania and Michigan can participate on the same day, with an assured prize pool of $50,000. The majority of the tournaments will be No Limit Hold ’em, with a few Omaha tournaments thrown in for good measure.

To add to the hype, Pennsylvania and Michigan will conduct the organization’s first-ever Mystery Bounty circuit activities. Here are a few notable New Jersey events:

  • Event 1, March 9: $320 Deepstack – $75,000 guaranteed
  • Event 4, March 12: $215 Monster Stack – $125,000 guaranteed
  • Event 8, Mar. 16: $500 Pot Limit Omaha – $40,000 guaranteed
  • Event 13, March 21: $1,000 NLHE High Roller – $100,000 guaranteed

On the horizon is the WSOP Tournament of Champions

Poker players still have a few months to classify for the renowned World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions. This $1 million freeroll is accessible to all bracelet and circuit ring winners from 2022-23, whether they won online or in person.

The tournament seems to have a new slot this year at the start of the timeline during the WSOP’s Kickoff Week, which runs from May 31 to June 2. Only players who won a live or virtual WSOP Circuit ring between July 20, 2022, and May 22, 2023, would be qualified for the tournament.

All who won WSOP Online and WSOP Europe bracelets in 2022 are also eligible to participate in the freeroll.

Win a seat at the WSOP Main Event in New Jersey

The WSOP Main Event satellites have been brought back, giving players the opportunity to compete for a seat in the prestigious $10,000 tournament.

Players can start competing on WSOP.com every Sunday in March, with events beginning at 6:30 p.m. While buy-ins vary by site, attendees have a real chance of winning a seat for a portion of the average cost.

The Pokerstars NJSCOOP begins on March 17th

This March, Pokerstars will host the Spring Championship of Online Poker, which will be a massive event for online poker players (SCOOP). The series, which runs from March 17 to April 3, features 252 events and $5 million in assured prizes.

It is the largest prize pool in the SCOOP’s history in the United States, with low, medium, as well as high purchase levels available. The series will take place in Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, including over $3 million guaranteed inside the former and much more than $2 million guaranteed in the latter.
