Bally’s Atlantic City Makes a Change, Acquires Bally Bet for Retail Sportsbook Space

If you were wondering how quickly Bally Bet would come into the New Jersey betting on sporting events market, now you know.

Bally Bet Sportsbook debuted on Wednesday inside Bally’s Atlantic City, the casino confirmed to CasinowatchNJ. The Bally Bet Sportsbook, the company’s first East Coast retail location, is taking over the area that FanDuel Sportsbook previously held.

Bally Bet Launches its Retail Sports Betting Debut in New Jersey

The Bally Bet Sportsbook’s specifications are comparable to those of its previous generation. A 25-foot-wide LED wall is bordered on either side by two 10-foot-wide LED walls. According to a business representative, Bally’s Atlantic City book has roughly 30 plush theater seats, 10 video displays, three gambling windows, and eight kiosks.

When the FanDuel facility opened just before March Madness in 2021, the Boardwalk casino became the ninth and final Atlantic City casino to have a permanent land-based sportsbook.

Bally’s and FanDuel began removing sports betting kiosks located outside the sportsbook a few weeks ago. The FanDuel Sportsbook at Bally’s AC has shuttered in recent days.

FanDuel, one of the biggest legal sports gambling providers in the United States and New Jersey, will no longer have a physical location in the country’s second-largest gambling market. FanDuel appears to have a branded shop located at Meadowlands Racetrack and operates an online sportsbook in New Jersey using the track’s sports wagering license.

Getting Ready for the Bally Bet NJ Online Sportsbook Supplement

A similar online NJ sports betting app will soon accompany the latest Bally Bet Sportsbook. Members of Bally’s Rewards will soon be able to utilize their loyalty cards and collect points across all of Bally’s Corporation’s online and offline platforms.

Bally’s Corp. temporarily closed down the Bally Bet online sportsbook in each of the six states where it was currently operating earlier this year in order to transfer to a new technology supplier, Kambi Group. According to the firm, the transition to Kambi’s sports betting platform will take “a few months.”

Kambi will run the Bally Bet Sportsbook within Bally’s Atlantic City, but no timetable has been offered. Bally Bet Sportsbooks are already available at casino sites in Shreveport, Louisiana, along with Biloxi, Mississippi.
